Taipei Municipal Zhong-zheng Senior High School

Aims

The Dance Joint Diploma Program of Taipei Municipal Zhong Zheng Senior High School (ZZSH), partnered with Maine Central Institute (MCI) Possov Ballet Theatre, US, allows students to graduate with two diplomas from both schools. The curriculum integrates ZZSH courses in Taiwan, distance teaching and learning, and in-person training in the United States. Students also have access to summer programs designed and implemented by MCI, incorporating rigorous American school coursework into ZZSH current academic program. This special program overall offers a comprehensive education in the art of dance that includes the acquisition of skills, rich artistic experiences with scholastic rigor.

Expected benefits 

Aside from significantly improving their command of English language, students are expected to advance their professional ballet dance skills and develop themselves as multi-faceted dance artists and creators. By earning the joint diploma, students secure the credentials for application to the most competitive universities in Taiwan and worldwide, and further empower themselves for future vocational training or employment.
