2023 Open House and Activities

In collaboration with the Education Bureau of Taipei City, ZZSH recently held an open house event on May 27th (Saturday) from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. The response from both parents and students who attended was incredibly enthusiastic. Initially, we received 40 applications, but the final number of participants exceeded 80.

During the event, Principal Jiang Huizhen provided a detailed introduction to our international curriculum, highlighting our excellent school spirit and abundant learning resources. Following the enrollment presentation, the guests were split into two groups: parents and students, each with their own activities.

For the parents, Director Xu Xiaocheng led a campus tour, showcasing our facilities and providing insights into our school environment. After the tour, they returned to the classroom to experience our compulsory courses.

Meanwhile, the students participated in an international course learning experience conducted entirely in English. Ms. Gao Weiqian and the foreign teachers engaged with the students through interactive English sessions and fun games. The students responded actively and found the process highly engaging. Subsequently, the students visited the geography classroom for an artificial intelligence (AI) course. Seniors from our school shared their knowledge of the design process of a robotic arm by Techman Robot Inc. Through hands-on interaction with the robotic arm, the visiting students gained a preliminary understanding of AI principles and operations. Finally, they had the opportunity to experience our compulsory course "Counting One and Two: Meet George at the Corner," which was also presented by senior students. Director Xu Xiaocheng asked key questions to complement the seniors' briefing, ensuring that the visiting students grasped the essence and content of the course.

The event concluded successfully after the completion of the aforementioned course experiences.
