In the co-teaching sessions, Mr. Deng taught Quadratic Function as the theme, and used many examples of parabolas in daily life, such as railway stations, churches, bridges and other buildings, to guide students from both ZZSH and Moreton Bay College to understand many applications of parabolas in daily life. Later, Mr. Deng guided everyone from both sides to calculate and draw parabolic graphs on the worksheet, and at the same time gave students the opportunity to demonstrate problem solving by turns. To wrap up the class, Mr. Deng also introduced related online mathematics learning resources: GeoGebra (geometry algebra app) and Desmos (graphing calculator app) to everyone, providing local and Australian students with tools to strengthen self-learning.
