Washington High School Students Embark on Study Abroad Journey to Taiwan

A total of 29 students and teachers from three high schools in Washington, DC, namely Theodore Roosevelt High School, McKinley Technology High School, and Jackson-Reed High School, not only engaged in technological exchanges but also participated in ink painting, Chinese dance, and martial arts classes at Taipei Municipal Zhongzheng High School. They experienced the essence of Chinese culture, learning how to wield a brush on rice paper, express body rhythms, and feel muscle strength, flexibility, and balance through Tai Chi. These experiences are believed to be cherished memories they can bring back to the United States.
