This IFY personal statement webinar is held by the University of Leeds and NCUK to provide IFY students with skills in writing a personal statement. A successful personal statement can highlight individuals’ characteristics and competitiveness. When preparing for writing, IFY students must resort to university websites to find out what qualities and skills universities are looking for. What’s more, using mind maps to make lists, writing drafts early, and paying attention to deadlines are also of great importance. Above all, super-curricular activities should be added to demonstrate IFY students' motivation and enthusiasm for their subject.
