(2) Teacher Qualifications:

All teachers have undergone the NCUK IFY training and are qualified teachers in the IFY program.

(3) Academic System

NCUK International Foundation Year is a qualification designed with NCUK university partners to prepare you for first year entry to undergraduate degree courses. Studying in small classes with us before you start your degree will give you the confidence you need before you start your degree course.

Quality is at the heart of everything that we do so our qualifications meet the highest academic standards set by our university partners. As well as academic knowledge, the NCUK International Foundation Year will give you specialist English language, study and cultural skills that are an essential part of your degree course. This unique combination will help you to get in to the university of your choice and get on with your future career without taking any IELTS exams.

(4) Student Support:

- Student learning strategies: independent learning/ time management / academic skills.

- Student counseling - seminars for students and parents to explore further education.

- NCUK Student Support Service provides dedicated student counselling and university application support.

(5) Diplomas and Certificates:

- Those who have passed EAP and NCUK university partners’ requirements will be awarded NCUK certificates, exempt from providing a TOEFL or IELTS score, and guaranteed admission into one of the partner universities.

- Those who have completed all the high school requirements and graduated successfully will be able to acquire a high school diploma.

(6) Admission Requirements:

Students from the 4 schools who are willing to participate in the IFY program should meet the following requirements:

1. Those whose future plan is to study overseas.

2. Those who have taken designated tests in English and maths, presented potential for academic learning in their study plans, and passed the school interviews successfully.

3. Those who have a recognized English language qualification e.g. IELTS 4.5.

4. Those who are eager to broaden their academic horizons in business, science, or engineering streams.

5. Those who are willing to put in their own perseverance, effort, and determination to take EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) courses.
